Returns & Refunds

We stand behind everything we sell and we want you to be completely satisfied with your order. This policy explains — in full and in plain language — what can be returned, the condition items must be in, how to start a return, how and when refunds are issued, and how exchanges work. It is available to everyone without needing an account or to log in, and it applies to purchases made within the United States.

Return Window

You may request a return of eligible items within 30 days of the purchase, pickup or delivery date, with proof of purchase (your receipt or order-confirmation email). Requests made after 30 days may be declined or offered store credit at our discretion. Eligible returns brought to our store are accepted free of charge.

Items Eligible for Return

To be eligible for a standard (change-of-mind) return, a non-alcohol item must be:

  • In new, unused and resalable condition, with all original packaging, tags, seals and accessories intact;
  • Accompanied by valid proof of purchase (receipt or order number); and
  • Returned within the 30-day window described above.

Items That Cannot Be Returned

For health, safety and legal reasons, the following are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged for change-of-mind reasons:

  • Alcoholic beverages and tobacco products. Under California law and California Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control rules, alcohol and tobacco generally cannot be returned, refunded or exchanged once they leave the store, except where the product is defective, spoiled, damaged, or was supplied in error (see below).
  • Items that have been opened or used, or are missing their original packaging or security seal.
  • Gift cards, special orders, and clearance or “as-is” items marked non-returnable at the time of sale.
  • Perishable goods (such as certain mixers or food items) once delivered.

Damaged, Defective or Incorrect Items

Your satisfaction is guaranteed against defects and our mistakes. If any item — including alcohol — arrives broken, leaking, spoiled, corked, defective, or you received the wrong product, please contact us within 7 days of receiving it. We will make it right with a free replacement or a full refund, including any original delivery cost. Please keep the item and its packaging and, if possible, send a photo to support@lakersliquor.com so we can resolve it immediately and, where needed, file a carrier or supplier claim.

How to Start a Return — Step by Step

Returns are simple and there is no membership or login required:

  • Step 1 — Contact us. Email support@lakersliquor.com or call (323) 754-9813 with your order number, the item(s) you want to return, and the reason. For damaged, defective or incorrect items, include a photo if you can.
  • Step 2 — Get confirmation. We will confirm your return is eligible and give you simple instructions. For change-of-mind returns you do not need a special authorization number — your order confirmation is enough.
  • Step 3 — Return the item. Bring the item and your receipt to our store at 1040 W Imperial Hwy, Los Angeles, CA 90044 (free), or, for shipped non-alcohol items, mail it back to us using the instructions we provide.
  • Step 4 — Inspection & refund. Once we receive and inspect the item, we approve the refund or exchange and notify you by email.

In-Store Returns Are Free

The easiest way to return an eligible item is to bring it to our store at 1040 W Imperial Hwy, Los Angeles, CA 90044 during opening hours with your proof of purchase. In-store returns are always free — there is no return-shipping cost and no restocking fee on eligible items.

Return Shipping Costs

If you choose to mail back an eligible non-alcohol item:

  • Our error or a defect: We pay 100% of return shipping and refund your original shipping cost. You are never out of pocket for our mistake.
  • Change of mind: Return shipping is the customer’s responsibility, and the original outbound shipping charge (if any) is non-refundable. We recommend a trackable method, as we cannot refund items lost in return transit.

Refunds — Method & Timing

Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method. After we receive and inspect a returned item (or approve a defective/incorrect-item claim), we process the refund within 1–2 business days, and it typically appears on your statement within 5–10 business days depending on your bank or card issuer. We will email you when your refund has been issued. Original delivery or shipping fees are refundable only when the return is due to a defect or our error.

Exchanges

Need a different item or a replacement for something defective? The fastest way to exchange is to contact us — we will reserve the replacement and process it as soon as we receive your original item (for defective or incorrect items, we often ship the replacement right away). If the replacement costs more or less, we will collect or refund the difference transparently.

Restocking Fees

We do not charge restocking fees on eligible returns. You receive a full refund of the item price.

Order Cancellations

You may cancel an order before it has been picked up, dispatched for delivery, or shipped — just contact us as soon as possible at (323) 754-9813 or support@lakersliquor.com. If the order has not yet been fulfilled, we will cancel it and issue a full refund. Once an order is out for delivery or has shipped, please follow the return process above.

Late or Missing Refunds

If you have not received an approved refund after 10 business days, first check with your bank or card issuer, as processing times vary. If it still has not appeared, contact us at support@lakersliquor.com or (323) 754-9813 and we will track it down for you.

Your Consumer Rights

This policy is offered in addition to — and does not limit — any rights you have under California consumer-protection law or applicable manufacturer warranties. Manufacturer warranty claims may be directed to us for assistance or handled directly with the manufacturer.
